How is a print made
The use of alginate is essential. This product does not require an insulating agent; it can be put in direct contact with the skin and the mucous membranes.
Contrarily to other moulding products, it just requires a very short immobilization of the mode, as it demands only one minute to solidify allowing therefore a very fastseizure with no special requirements.
Alginate has the ability of printing very fine details, with a margin of one or two microns, therefore producing a very accurate and close-to-the-original mould.
This mould will be used to release a single test-print and destroyed afterwards.
In order to allow the production of several prints, it will be necessary, then to create a silicone mould with the test-print.
